Watching

Watching racquet sports: what the bodies and organisers say, sport by sport.

Broadcast arrangements differ from country to country and change between seasons, so every line here carries its date and its source. Where only a consumer guide or a search summary says who shows an event, the page says so. No prices or subscription tiers are given.

Tennis

Australian Open 2026

Tennis Australia's report of 5 February 2026 is the most detailed first-party account in the research:

  • In Australia, the tournament was shown on linear television and on the Nine group's streaming services 9Now and Stan; Tennis Australia says 31.5 per cent of domestic viewing hours came through streaming.
  • In the United States, the report cites viewing of the round of 16 on ESPN2.
  • The host broadcaster produced two world feeds, and the AO Live music sessions went out on the tournament's YouTube channel.

Wimbledon 2026

Consumer viewing guides, seen in search summaries, gave the BBC in the UK, including every court on BBC iPlayer, and ESPN in the US, across ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC. No statement from the All England Club was read, so this is unconfirmed.

Billie Jean King Cup Finals 2026

The LTA said on 17 September 2026 that Great Britain's tie against Czechia on 22 September could be watched in the UK on BBC iPlayer.

Not confirmed

Broadcasters for the 2026 US Open, Roland-Garros, ATP Finals, WTA Finals and Davis Cup Final 8 were not confirmed from an organiser's page in the research, so none is named here.

Badminton

Press viewing guides for the 2026 BWF World Championships, seen in search summaries, say BWF TV on YouTube carries selected matches, often qualifying, early rounds or outside courts, and is subject to territorial restrictions, while full coverage belongs to national rights holders; they name JioHotstar in India and Astro in Malaysia as examples. The BWF's own pages could not be opened, so this is unconfirmed.

Squash

The PSA's "How to Watch" page, dated only by its 2026 copyright line, says:

  • SQUASHTV is, in the PSA's words, "the only place to watch every match live", with more than 600 hours of live squash a year and an archive of more than 5,000 matches, alongside the PSA Squash Tour app.
  • Partner broadcasters show the semi-finals and finals of major events: ON Sport in Egypt (from the quarter-finals, and every glass-court match at events in Egypt), Ziggo in the Netherlands (highlights), Sky Sports in New Zealand, SPOTV across Asia, SuperSport across Africa and Viacom18 in the Indian subcontinent.

Two trade-press headlines of 29 January 2026 report that the PSA signed a broadcast agreement with Fox Sports Australia. Only the headlines were seen, so the terms are unknown and the deal is unconfirmed.

Padel

  • Red Bull TV: a search summary of Red Bull's own viewing page says Red Bull TV streams the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals of every 2026 Premier Padel event, with earlier rounds on Premier Padel's YouTube channel. The page itself came back empty, so this is unconfirmed.
  • beIN Sports: a Qatar Tribune headline and search summary report that beIN secured rights to the 2026 Premier Padel tour and the FIP World Cup in 39 markets, including the Middle East and North Africa, Turkiye, Asia-Pacific and North America. The article was not read, so this is unconfirmed.

No viewing statement from the FIP or Premier Padel itself was read for this research.

Pickleball

  • US Open Pickleball Championships 2026: The Dink's preview of 13 April 2026 listed the Pickleball Channel on YouTube for the early rounds (14 to 16 April) and CBS Sports Network for the semi-finals (17 April) and championship day (18 April).
  • USA Pickleball National Championships 2026: the event's own site links to "Watch on QVC+" and names a Championship Court presented by QVC.
  • PPA Tour: The Kitchen, a pickleball news site, reported on 19 January 2026 that the tour's Indoor National Championships were shown on PickleballTV, on its website and app.
  • Major League Pickleball Finals 2026: The Dink published a television and streaming schedule, but the broadcasters it names were not read for the research, so none is given here.

The APP Tour's viewing arrangements were not part of the research.

Why so much is unconfirmed

Several of the bodies' own sites could not be opened for this research: the US Open's timed out, the BWF's returned an access error, World Tennis's article pages came back empty, and no viewing statement from the All England Club or Premier Padel was read. Arrangements for events still to come may change before they are played. Results for every event mentioned here are in the events section.
